Brown-Forman & Affinity win Brandon Hall Awards with Brand Learning
We are delighted to announce that Brown-Forman and Affinity have won Brandon Hall awards for their work with us: a major recognition for excellence in learning and development.
Brown-Forman, in partnership with Brand Learning and Purple Media has been awarded Gold in the Best Advance in Custom Content category, for an innovative program to onboard people working with Jack Daniel’s.
Affinity has been awarded Bronze in the Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program category for a remarkable capability initiative that built digital capabilities as part of a digital transformation programme.
Nevine el-Warraky, co-CEO of Brand Learning said “we believe sustainable growth requires continuously improving the capabilities of people and organisations to deliver their growth strategies. We are proud that our clients’ exciting and innovative programs have been recognised in these awards”.
Brown-Forman’s winning program is Jack’s Way – the Jack Daniel’s brand onboarding program. Jack’s Way immerses brand stewards in a virtual journey to Lynchburg, Tennessee, the home of Jack Daniel’s, bringing the personality and history of the brand alive to create passionate brand advocates.
Lottie Chestnut, Jack Daniel's Global Brand Education Director, said “The Jack’s Way onboarding program is not your typical training, because Jack’s not your typical brand. The quality of content, production and learning interactivity has been a first in our company and we’re proud to see the program recognized for its achievement with this award.”
Affinity’s winning program, Mindshakers: shaking up digital capabilities among the top 100 leaders, was designed to inspire and instil a digital mindset across all functions of the company.
“The Mindshakers programme has been hugely important in lifting digital capabilities at Affinity across the business. It helped us prepare and align to start one of the most exciting journeys of a lifetime and we are delighted it has been recognised with this award for excellence” said Paco Casa, CMO and Teresa Niubo, HR Director.
“Excellence Award winners personify innovation that drives business results. Our winners embrace the future and embrace change and the challenges that go with it,” said Rachel Cooke, Chief Operating Officer of Brandon Hall Group and head of the awards program.
The award entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran senior industry experts and Brandon Hall Group analysts based on how well they fitted the need, were designed and functionally delivered, their innovation, and their measurable benefits.
Brand Learning has won Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards twice before: winning Gold in the Best Unique or Innovative Learning Development Program category with Pfizer and Sweetrush in 2017, and Silver in the Best in Competencies and Skills Development category with GSK Consumer Healthcare in 2015.
