Rodrigo Barreto

Rodrigo has more than 20 years of marketing experience. He is an engineer by degree and started his career in Brazil working for Shell - working on the retail and lubricants businesses, managing the Shell Helix brand across multiple channels and working closely with the commercial teams as the client lead for key customers like Carrefour and Wal-Mart.

After completing his MBA at the University of North Carolina, USA, Rodrigo worked for Nestle USA managing brands in categories like frozen foods, chocolate and snacks for the whole US. Rodrigo then moved to London and worked for Kimberly-Clark Europe managing the Huggies brand and later, the Andrex brand for Europe.

Rodrigo has a passion for helping people and teams to change behaviour to drive performance. Since joining Brand Learning in 2010, he has been developing and delivering programmes for clients like Shell, Philips, Pfizer, Brown-Forman, HSBC and Roche, among others. Rodrigo has strong experience in B2B and B2C in areas like leadership, change management, customer value propositions, creativity, strategic marketing & planning and commercial excellence. Rodrigo has a special passion for solutions-type work, where teams work on “live” issues.

Rodrigo is Brazilian, married to a Greek wife and loves to spend time sailing, scuba diving, skiing, going to comedy clubs and drinking wine. Rodrigo loves learning new things and is currently trying his luck as a stand-up comedian.
