Group Client Vice President
Karen brings more than 20 years of international experience, in both client-side marketing roles and as a marketing and business consultant.
She began her career as a client-side marketer, working in both B2B and consumer marketing, in publishing/media (at Time Warner and Random House) and financial services. She led customer acquisition, growth, and cross-sell programmes for the consumer banking division of JPMorgan Chase in the United States, and re-positioned its workplace banking offer. At Merrill Lynch, she managed global B2B product marketing, communications, and branding for the Investment Bank.
Karen later moved into management consulting, first with A.T. Kearney. There she drove a mix of marketing and sales assignments, including customer experience design, segmentation, channel strategy, and merger integration. She advised clients across various industries, including telecommunications and consumer goods, and worked across Europe, as well as in Africa and the U.S.
Since joining Brand Learning in 2011, Karen has led teams to deliver strategic capability development programmes with a wide range of clients, including Colgate-Palmolive, AB InBev, Pfizer, Abbott Labs, and more. Her work has included organizational design, operating model, strategy, and blended learning design. She has also played a key role in helping to build Brand Learning’s operations in the U.S.
Karen is a native New Yorker, living in London, but travels every chance she gets. She holds a BA in International Studies from Loyola University (Maryland, USA) and an MBA from the University of Cambridge.
