David Lane

David Lane has over 20 years commercial experience across internationally leading FMCG and Entertainment companies.

David started his career at Sega, in the Entertainment industry before moving to Freudenberg Household Products, where he held a number of marketing roles managing key global brands as well as product innovation and insight across global markets.

David then joined SC Johnson in the UK where he strengthened his commercial experience holding a number of senior commercial and board level roles including UK/Nordic Marketing Director, Sales Director and was a Board Member of the British Brands Group.

During his tenure David facilitated a number of regional change projects on behalf of the global board and became well known for delivering strong business results while keeping the consumer and customer at the heart of decision making. He also has deep credibility in building and managing talented commercial teams as well as leveraging strong working relationships across organisational functions. Furthermore David was pivotal in the establishment and integration of e-commerce and digital teams at SC Johnson UK, which has become a personal passion.

David loves travel and exploring new places he has lived and worked in Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and the Philippines. A keen sportsman in his youth he now spends his time reliving his glory days with his son, coaching cricket. David is married to Melanie, and they have three children.
