Ana Maria Santos

Ana started her career as a Marketer in Business-to-Business. She spent the first 6 years of her career in Product and Marketing Management for a major Pulp-and-Paper conglomerate in Brazil, later moving on to packaging and raw-materials with the then industrial goods arm of CPC International.  

She then started a successful career as a consultant, whilst lecturing Marketing and Strategy to under-graduates, graduates and executives in ESPM, a leading Business School in Brazil. She moved to the UK in 1995, where, after being awarded an MBA from Warwick Business School (on a British Council Academic Scholarship), she was a consultant with PwC in the Marketing and Strategy practice for 5 years before joining Brand Learning

Ana has been at Brand Learning for 15 years. She has relocated to New York City 5 years ago to open Brand Learning’s first overseas practice, which has grown to deliver a significant share of BL’s global business. Ana is an expert in capability development and believes in its power to drive change in practice. She is particularly passionate about bringing innovation in learning at organizational and individual level. Besides leading the business internally, she has led several global marketing capability development programs with a broad range of clients including Shell, MetLife and Pfizer.

Ana has also a bachelors degree in Marketing. She is Brazilian, married to a Greek, has two beautiful teenage daughters, who are trying to be trilingual (so far failing miserably). She loves going to the cinema, baking and having a good time out. Skiing with the family is her most recent new challenge!
