Key Customer Management: establishing a basis for excellence

The Challenge

Our client, a global consumer goods company, wanted to establish a consistent approach and understanding of customer management, building the confidence and skills of the Customer Development Managers to directly impact the business with their retail customers.

What we did

We developed an integrated programme across core areas of customer management including customer planning, selling, and negotiation skills. Through a 4-day highly interactive workshop, the team had the opportunity to learn and practice new skills. To support them in applying these skills and approaches to their real work, we developed comprehensive playbooks. Coaching guides were also provided for managers to ensure the teams were supported by impactful coaching that helped embed their new skills.

Results

The feedback on the programme was positive, achieving an overall value rating of 4.5 out of 5 from participants. Our client has established a consistent and effective approach to Key Customer Management equipping them for their future growth goals.
