Harnessing digital creativity to innovate new solutions

The challenge

We were asked by this pharmaceutical company to build the organisation’s understanding of how digital is changing the behaviour of patients and healthcare professionals, and to help them change their own behaviours and activity accordingly.

First we needed to convince leaders of the case for change. Then we needed to help them develop a vision for success. And having set the direction, we needed to enable them to change.

What we did

We worked with the leadership team to create a compelling vision for the future. Then we engaged cross-functional teams with what is changing as a result of digital technologies and to build their digital capabilities.

This began with a four-week, self-paced online learning experience with two routes:
1. For those just starting out in digital
2. For those looking to accelerate their digital capabilities

We went on to facilitate focused digital workshops to give cross-functional teams real confidence in applying digital thinking to building digital solutions and activities for stakeholders and patients. Ideas were prioritised and KPIs established to encourage teams to innovate, test and learn.
