Creating a compelling employee value proposition

The challenge

In a competitive talent market place, our global engineering client needed an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that would attract the best candidates and convey the essence of why current employees feel motivated and proud of their work. This needed to be consistent across all touchpoints and support the company’s vision and values.

What we did

Working with the senior HR leadership team and a multinational project team, we scoped, researched, developed and validated three alternative routes for an EVP closely aligned to the corporate brand.

We then created engagement plans to engage different segments internally and externally, aligned senior leaders and trained recruiters. The development of an external attraction plan prioritised touchpoints within a candidate journey.

The impact

The EVP was clearly aligned to the corporate brand and formed a foundation from which to build the employer brand, recruitment marketing and processes, employee retention and engagement
