BRAND LEARNING and AkzoNobel (formerly ICI) win top prize at the Marketing Society’s Awards for Excellence 2008
BRAND LEARNING are delighted to have been awarded both the top award ‘Grand Prix’ and the ‘Marketing Capabilities Award’ at the Marketing Society Awards for Excellence 2008.
The Marketing Society awards recognise the work BRAND LEARNING have undertaken with AkzoNobel (formerly ICI Paints) to enable them to transform their Marketing function. Since the set up of the Advanced Marketing Academy, ICI Paints has experienced increased sales and market share, whilst simultaneously developing the skills of its marketing team.
The Grand Prix Award for Excellence was awarded to the entry across all 17 awards categories that best demonstrated marketing excellence and that has pushed the boundaries of what marketing can achieve.
The Marketing Capabilities Award for Excellence went to the organisation that best demonstrated their effective investment in improving the performance of individuals, teams and the company as a whole to help drive sustainable organic growth.
This is the second year in which a BRAND LEARNING client has won the Marketing Capabilities Award for Excellence and we are very proud that AkzoNobel's investment in building marketing excellence has been recognised for driving tangible change and delivering outstanding business results.
