Since we launched Radar last year over 1,900 marketers have completed our online questionnaire in 55 countries. A Radar Management Summary Report is specific to the client. However analysis of our growing database highlights some key findings across businesses:

  • Marketers find ‘Innovation’ one of the most challenging areas. Only 37% of marketers agree that their business has an effective insights-based innovation strategy and there is opportunity for greater collaboration across the business to develop innovation.
  • Although many marketers are now embracing social media to engage with their customers, only 36% use it to build relationships and 31% to enable new levels of customer service.
  • People and organisational issues can be significant barriers to companies becoming world-class. Radar helps to identify what these are e.g. unclear roles, responsibilities and ways of working between local and regional/central Marketing Teams.
