Our History

The Brand Learning Partners Limited was founded in the UK in July 2000 and started trading as BRAND LEARNING on 1st November 2000.

Our Founding Partners Andy Bird and Mhairi McEwan, were previously VP Marketing executives in the UK and internationally with Unilever and PepsiCo, and have both supported global Marketing Capability Development programmes with many multi-national companies.

Andy & Mhairi set out with a mission to transform the way companies approached marketing capability development and to establish a business with leading-edge world-class credentials in this field.

November 2000

BRAND LEARNING starts trading with first clients (including Unilever, Diageo, Barclays and Astra Zeneca)

2001

Other partner shares acquired by current Managing Directors - Andy Bird and Mhairi McEwan

BRAND LEARNING moves into Burgoine Quay - its current riverside offices near Kingston-Upon-Thames, South West London, UK

2005

Michele McGrath and Nevine El Warraky become equity partners

2006

Jill Hughes & Ana Maria Santos become equity partners

2006-2008

BRAND LEARNING expansion continues – with rapidly growing client base, now over 40 multi-national clients (see Client List), and reach in over 34 countries globally

2011

BRAND LEARNING has 95 employees and has over 40 specialist consultants in its extended international network (see Who’s Who)

2012

BRAND LEARNING Group established and BRAND LEARNING Inc. opened in New Jersey, US
